Project idea
the objective is to design a 36 square house that adapt the tropical climate in Indonesia
Project description
a house that respond tropical climate condition. large ventilation to carry hot
and humid air from inside, cooling down the temperature inside the house.
perforated bamboo ceiling allow easier air circulation. the uses of exposed
concrete wall, wood, and timber roof structures creates calm feeling.
Technical information
this house uses masonry and concrete for foundation, steel reinforced concrete for column and beam, brick wall, timber structure for roof system, and metal roof for roofing.
