Project idea

The idea of the project was to design a Hospital to serve The Community & The city
that people come To treat them Selves Mentally & Physically , and also fit the Building with its Context economically&Environmentally , also Using Some Sustainability Strategies Like The best possible Orientation & Shading Devices (Site responsive design) to Make a more peaceful ,Thermally comforted & less nature destroyer Environment .
Also My Design Inspired By Frank Lloyd wright Principles & Characteristics as a part of College Requirements.

Project description

the Project is Located in As Sulaymanyah, Iraq , that don't have any historical characteristics with area of 26,000 sq m & 16,000 sq m built up area in 8 floors , which is A general hospital with 250 beds Contains :( Emergency Dept , Physiotherapy Dept , Clinics , Pharmacy Dept, Laboratories, Radiology Dept,
Surgery Dept , Intensive Care Unit I.C.U , Morgue Unit , Main kitchen & Cafeteria
BMS&maintenance , Laundry&Sterilization.........etc).

Technical information

the building is 8 floors with total height of 28.0 m as Follows :
Basement floor : Radiology Dept , Morgue Unit , Laundry , Maintenance & BMS , Main kitchen , MEP Services , Main Storages . Central sterilization
Ground floor: Pharmacy dept, Surgery dept, Emergency dept , Clinics, Physiotherapy dept, Labs , Lobby.
First floor : Administration Dept , Control &Monitoring , Restaurant , I.C.U , Surgery
(2nd - 6th) floor : each floor ( 3 Doctors room , 2 Stores , 4 single beds , 3 double beds , 2 four beds , 2 Bed halls , Restrooms
tower structure made up entirely of Reinforced Concrete Frame System because its cheap in my Country , And the Emergency Dept structure is made of Waffle Slab (Span 18.0 m ) , and i used Stone , Concrete Cladding & Low-e Glass in the Facade. With Shading devices .
