Project idea

In the urban concept, the bridge forms an important communication point linking both river Váh banks and offers new public spaces for miscellaneous uses.
The concept offers year-round leisure activities not only indoors or in connection with nature, but also the view of the Trenčiansky castle, the town of Trenčín and its surroundings.

Project description

The aim of this thesis was to design a bridge for residents and visitors of the town of Trenčín, where the railway bridge was transformed into a residential bridge exclusively for pedestrians and cyclists.
