"The first areas I created with enthusiasm were children's shelters, formed out of blankets and a variety of furniture all over an apartment.
Naturally I percieved that more likely as a game than as a form of a internal expression.
The children's spirit and great passion has led me up to this day. Although my perception of interior design, and the way I create it has gained much deeper sense up till today.
By creating an interior design we tend to search for a lost identity which we felt as a baby in our mother's womb."
MgA. Kateřina Zemánková is currently interior designer for czech furniture company HANÁK NÁBYTEK, a.s. in Prague.
She graduated at the Studio of Product Design at the Faculty of Fine Arts at BUT with her master's thesis "Design of Cafe Interior". Part of the thesis was also design of individual chairs.
