This is a well-researched project with detailed programs laid out for a specific design purpose. Visitors' path and material handling path are well designed with some integration as a means of exhibition. Three glass globes are the main feature of the design, successfully using light to bring the three levels together.
The idea of greenery and park carpeting the main underground programs are cool. It could be designed in more detail and taken the local climate into consideration. The description part of the project has a detailed summary of the country's climate, but such information is not represented into the project.
The night scene of the complex does not seem relevant to the program, unless there are automated manufacturing process happening in the evening, or night time observatory opportunities in the globe.
The diagram of the material handling is clear and well thought of, but the diagram of massing needs improvement.
Ghana is one of the largest e-waste dumps in the world. Developed countries can leave their garbage in this country. It causes various diseases and environmental pollution.
If the project name is Re-nkra;
"re" means recycling, while "nkra" means the anthill from which accra is named. Inspired by the anthill, we positioned our structure underground and created a rehabilitation area with a green touch on top. The effect of the jeans difference in this settlement is also great.
Green spaces are divided into two parts. The park and the greenery above the structure. We have designed areas in the park where people can walk around and have fun and relax. We'vecreated a space to highlight the entranceto the park. There are exhibition spaces in the park and small structures that protect people from the sun, made of local materials. We covered our structure, which works as a whole with topography, with a green cover. We designed a viewing area on the structure.
We defined the area by directing the guest area, which forms the main backbone of our structure, in red colors.
We wanted the guests who came to the building to watch the work inside and gain experience. In doing so, we thought they should not interfere with the functioning and asked them to monitor the operation without interfering with the operation in a protective area. The guest area can be reached from differentjeans.
The units contained by the structure; Factory areas, Workshop areas, Sales units, Warehouses, Dining Hall, seminer hall, guest areas.
We made garbage entrances into the round masses above our structure. With the help of platforms, we deliver this garbage between floors to the necessary places. We sort the garbage we take to the factory area by taking it into the sorting tapes with the help of Folklifler. Thedecompishedwastes are turned into raw materials andtaken to the workshop area to give anew function. Among those that can be used among the sorted, the necessary maintenance is carried out and taken to the sales unit. We've placed them in the area where the garbage can come and where the human density is low.
We have created an Amphitheater whereworkers working in the factory area can benefit, relax and be intertwined with thepark. The area surrounded by green walls works as a whole with topography. Inthe factory, the sorted materials go to the workshop floor. Here you can see that you're We have glass, metal, precious metals (preciousmetals from chips, main profits), repair and art workshops.
Sculptures made of waste materials are exhibited in the exhibition areas in the park.
Materials processed and repaired in workshops are sent to the Sales unit. We have 2 different buymomentsin the salesunit. These are the ones that are going to Clearing and sales unit:
While you can replace the product you have in theclearing unit with the repaired product, you can buy the products from the workshop in the sales unit.
Our aim in making these units is to bring people into society by providing a healthy working environment and at the same time creating educational and educational areas.
We have 2 chimneys onthe factory. Our goal here is to improve the environment by providing carbon-emission gases in Ghana, where air pollution is a burden, and at the same time to gain energy by taking advantage of the wind.
Preferring to use local building materials ethically. We made sure that the materials used in the structure (glass, metal, etc.) wererecycled pre-production material. If the trees used inthe parkare,we preferred the plants that grow in thatb death.
Human and environmentally oriented thinking has led us to a goal.
We aim to raise awareness about recycling and environmental pollution by interacting with the people in the surrounding area.
The project states that people and the environment are important in the environment. Our goal is to help people in the surrounding areatake more accurate stepsto raiseawareness. Weaim to saveenergy with the banana renewable energy sources it uses. By raising people's awareness of environmental pollution,we aim to transform the area into a cleaner area.
