Visits to the doctor invoke feelings of dread and anxiety. This can be especially true for neurodiversity people with over sensitivity issues. This project was designed to create a calming environment.

This pediatric doctor's office is designed to reduce anxiety. Blues and greens are known as calming colors. Pink adds an additional anxiety reducing color according to recent studies. Elements of nature including a tree light and oak finishing are added as comforting elements. Wayfinding is addressed with the colored circles giving a clear path to the counter. Finally, a variety of lighting allows for changes in lighting.
