Ethiopian Space Science Museum

Project idea

As it is a space science museum a simplified design of the solar system is used as a concept of the structure. creating a friendly green environment is been achieved on the roof terrace where people can gather and gaze at the stars and spend quality time with each other, by incorporating some renewable energy on the top of the roof cover creates an opportunity for the building where it can sustain its own energy consumption. The project of work entitled" Ethiopian Space Science Museum" submitted to the Ethiopian space science society institute is a record of an original work by me under the guidance of the Architectural department; MH Engineering plc.

Project description

The scope of this project is to identify project requirement,realize and prepare a design which solely describe the Ethiopian space science society, and produce conceptual, scheme, preliminary and final architectural designs, specification and closely follow up the engineering working drawings of the project.

Technical information

The project is located in Addis Ababa, at Entoto Observatory compound which covers a total of 40,590m2; Total built up area of the building is 1070m2
