All seasons winter sports and leisure complex

Project idea

The complex was designed on the Protasiv Yar. Here you can see open air ski run that attract skiers from all the city and it’s surroundings. So the main idea of project was to design two ski run tubes. One of them is under the ground inside the tube, but somewhere rises up to the ground.

Project description

The object consists of 4 blocks. They are united with each other by open and close passages. Hotel and administration are in the First Block (Блок A). In the Second Block (Блок Б) you can see restaurant designed for visitors of the outdoor and indoor ski run, hotel guests, and those who live not far from the complex. Shops and rooms that are connected to the open door ski runs (equipment rent, ticket window for ski lift ) are in the Second Block (Блок В). The Fourth Block (Блок Г) is Sports. Here you can see school, big concert hall and gym with ski simulators.

Technical information

The main materials of the build are concrete, glass, metal and wood.
On the facades of the blocks used a system of attractors. This system protects halls from the poor solar orientation and promote insulation. They are also directed to the panorama of the city and hide the technical rooms.
